Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1989, grade 110/110 with honour.
License to practice in April 1989.
PhD in Biotechnologies applied to veterinary and zootechnical sciences in 1993.
Fellowship post-PhD in 1994-1995.
Researcher at the Microbiology and Immunology Institute from 1995 to 2001 (scientific field: Infectious diseases of domestic animals).
Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, (University of Milan), from 2001 till now (scientific field: Infectious diseases of domestic animals).
Teacher of many courses (Veterinary immunology, Infectious Diseases of companion animals, General microbiology and immunology, Basic immunology, Immunoprophylaxis and immunopathology) for courses of the Veterinary School of Milan, and teacher of many lectures in the field of immunology at many Specialisation schools
Main study field: immunology and pet vaccination
Author of the Immunology section of the textbook Veterinary microbiology and immunology (2017, EDRA, Milan) and the book Vaccines and vaccinations of companion animals (2020, EDRA, Milan). Author of more than 170 scientific and popular articles and curatela, more than 110 contributions to congresses, more than 70 invitations as speaker for lectures of applied immunology & pet vaccines and vaccinations, and tutor of more than 320 degree theses (most of which in Veterinary Medicine) and/or specialisation theses.
