In 2007 she was reference professor in a project carried in collaboration with Dr. Eloisa Terzo from Department of Diagnostic Imaging - University Veterinary Hospital - Dublin, Ireland, the title was” Floppy mitral valve, mitral valve prolapse, mitral valve regurgitation triad. a retrospective study in a large population of dogs” .

From 2008 she is an examiner member of the “Osservatorio Italiano HCM felina (primary hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in cat)”

From 2007 to 2011 she was mentor of a research project: “Evaluation of the prognostic variable and of the survival time in a population of dogs affected by congenital pulmonic stenosis undergoing to balloon valvuloplasty associated with medical therapy vs medical therapy”. The four years research project was financed by University of Milan, and it was done in collaboration with Dr. Claudio Bussadori - “Clinica Veterinaria Gran Sasso di Milano”

In 2009 she collaborated with the “Laboratorio di Biologia Vascolare e Medicina Rigenerativa” - Centro Cardiologico Monzino, Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico (IRCCS) di Milano to a study that evaluated the circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of myocardial infarction in rat.

From 2010 she is the mentor of doctorate research projects
1) The evaluation of the left ventricle kinetic using methods 2-D based (strain, strain rate) in dog with PDA.
2) Cardiovascular proteomics and mitral valve disease in dogs: searching for a sierological biomarkers

From 2012 she is the mentor of a research project that studies the right ventricular function in healthy dogs and affected by congenital pulmonic stenosis, before and after valvuloplasty. The research project is financed by the State University of Milan and FSE, and it is in collaboration with Dr. Claudio Bussadori - “Clinica Veterinaria Gran Sasso di Milano”

In 2012 she contributed to the “international collaborative study to assess cardiovascular risk and evaluate long term health in feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (reveal)” which results were published in Scientific Proceedings, ACVIM Forum, 2013
