The rise of coworking spaces : a literature review

The article reflects on importance of spreading coworking practices with an exception of improvement in socio economic conditions of workers in the knowledge economy. Topics discussed include impact of global economic crisis on changes in the working practices of the knowledge economy, importance of coworking spaces for academics and policy makers, and study of American urban studies theorist Richard Florida on factors that increased economic growth in 2000.
