Sindrome da tunnel carpale nel cavallo : reperti di risonanza magnetica in tre casi

As in many other animal species, also in equine patients carpal tunnel syndrome is considered a compartimental syndrome due to increased volume of one or more structures included in the carpal canal that induced a compression on the vasculo-nervous trunk. The causes can be different, it is essential to recognize the underlying pathology in order to have a precise prognosis and establish an appropriate therapy. This paper describes the clinical and Magnetic Resonance findings in three cases of carpal tunnel syndrome.
