Abstract:
The rapid development and diffusion of artificial intelligence and data science techniques enable research in the field of humanities and social sciences to become more and more computational. In this paper, we present the computational history approach featuring the VAST project aiming to study the transformation of moral values across space and time, by collecting, digitising, and analysing narratives and experiences, with particular emphasis on the core European Values, such as freedom, democracy, equality.
