Solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura is a rare entity which may have different clinical pictures. The tumor is usually discovered incidentally on routine chest radiography. Although the majority of these neoplasms have a benign clinical course, the malignant form has also been reported. Complete surgical resection is the treatment of choice for solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura preferring the video-assisted approach for pedunculated and small sized masses
