IN Search of early clinical and molecular Predictors of diagnosis and treatment response In patients with Rare Endocrine disorders: retrospective analysis on large healthcare database network and translational cohort studies (the INSPIRE project)

Questo progetto mira a sviluppare modelli predittivi innovativi per: a) diagnosi precoce di sindrome di Cushing (CS), acromegalia e feocromocitoma (PCC) in cure primarie; b) risposta al trattamento chirurgico e farmacologico in pazienti con CS e acromegalia in assistenza secondaria. Per raggiungere questi obiettivi, i risultati dell'analisi retrospettiva di banche dati saranno integrati con quelli provenienti da dati clinici e studi traslazionali di marcatori molecolari in una coorte di pazienti, arruolati da tre unità di endocrinologia aderenti al progetto. La combinazione di dati clinico-epidemiologici e molecolari consentirà lo sviluppo di diagnosi innovative e algoritmi di predizione della risposta al trattamento delle tre malattie rare endocrine.
