The SAFER project will develop an AI-powered, privacy-preserving system to monitor hand hygiene compliance in real time. The AI powered monitoring system will detect compliance, provide immediate feedback to healthcare workers, and track recontamination risks. This approach offers granular insights into behaviors contributing to HAIs, enabling data-driven infection prevention strategies.
