The UNIMI team will use high-resolution imaging, including confocal microscopy and molecular and cellular assays, to examine tissue integrity, cell damage, and cell death in rice seed embryos. These analyses will be performed on a selected number of rice varieties with different levels of tolerance, after treatments applied under both water-stress and non-stress conditions.
