Analisi dei dati di campioni di particolato atmosferico nell'ambito dei progetti "Supersito" e "Med_Particles"
ProjectThe activities carried out by the Environmental Physics research group at the Dept. of Physics were inserted in the frame of a collaboration agreement regarding two different projects:
- “Supersite project: realization of an integrated study on the atmospheric pollution recorded in Emilia Romagna by the measurement of the chemical, physical, toxicological parameters as well as the evaluation of the health, epidemiological and environmental impact by means of a modelling assessment " (ARPA Emilia Romagna is the PI).
- Life + project "MED-PARTICLES" aiming at a better knowledge on:
a) particulate matter pollution characteristics in selected towns of the MEditerranean basin;
b) linkage between air pollution and helth effects (ARPA Emilia Romagna is a research unit).
In both project the scientifc role of the Environmental Physics research group has been:
1) multi-elemental analysis by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometry of particulate matter samples (PM2.5);
2) collaboration for data interpretation;
3) collaboration in the receptor modelling study to identify and apportion major PM emission sources.
