Studio delle modificazionie cardiovascolari e stratificazione del rischio aritmico degli atleti competitivi giovani e nei "master"

Project

The project aims to evaluate the cardiovascular response to exercise in athletes and young master .



The study involves comparison with control groups of untrained subjects of the same age .

It is intended to highlight the existence of sensitive variables among those considered , and the existence of significant groups of patients around these variables.



The surveys provided are: ECG at rest and under stress, venipuncture with a dosage of various parameters , echocardiography , Holter ECG , T-wave electrical alternans (TWA) .

Were considered four groups of subjects:

- A group of 19 athletes, " master ", ie over the age of 40, consisting of 6 female
and 13 male

athletes




- A group of 18 young athletes , 5 female and 13 male

- A control group of 7 sedentary age greater than 40 years , 2 female and 5 male

- A control group of 8 young sedentary , 3 female and 5 male.



For the analysis data mining tools are used, in particular clustering and artificial neural networks.
