Research overview

The main line of research addesses fundamental questions about the understanding and mathematical modelling of the vibrational spectra of solids, with particular attention to disordered solids. Of particular interest are the so called THz vibrational anomalies (e.g. boson peak in glasses), as well as related phenomena of localization and attenuation/damping of phonons and waves. (2016 - )
