Recruited in April 2009 to set up the Paediatric Nephrology Unit in Bologna which

The Unit is now a reference centre for paediatric nephrology in the Emilia-Romagna region. A wide-ranging clinical research programme has also been set up including the development and management of national and international protocols in the field of paediatric nephrology.
