Review of precision calculations for the measurement of electroweak boson production and properties at hadron colliders

We review the present status of precision calculations and tools for the study of single electroweak gauge boson production at hadron colliders. The state-of-the-art of higher-order electroweak and QCD calculations, as well as their combination, is summarized, paying particular attention to the precision measurements of the W -boson parameters at the Fermilab Tevatron and CERN LHC.
