In election dabate, for example, the opponents want to ruin mutually to reinforce their face. All this occurs in television and so the attack to te opponent turns in a mediatic show. In this paper, we study the two face to face debite between Zapatero and Rajoy, in the context of Spanish general elections. We analyze face activitiesn used in the confrontation to evaluate if candidates prefer to discredit the opponent or to empazyse their political programs.
