Quelque chose pour conjurer la nuit : ou l’épopée de l’avenue-pays. La poétique de Sinzo Aanza à partir de Ta volonté soit Kin

In this paper, I will reconstruct the poetics of Sinzo Aanza starting from the theatrical play Que ta volonté soit Kin (2018). To do so, we’ll show that it is necessary to go beyond the canonical framework of literary genres to embrace a work which, physically, deserves to be understood outside strict disciplinary partitions. This will lead to investigate a plural creative gesture, which uses art, but also writings found on the author’s FaceBook account. In this way, we manage to highlight Sinzo Aanza’s will for a remedy against the « night of conscience », both public and individual. And this remedy involves the creation of a brand new epic for the Congolese « national identity ».
