Guidelines for the diagnosis and therapy of the vein and lymphatic disorders

In 2002, in order to update the guidelines, the original teams of phlebology and lymphology specialists were enlarged to include various other experts: physiatrist, nurses, economist and lawyers, and patient''s representatives. The methods drew on evidence-based medicine, applying rules of evidence to the medical literature to produce recommendations for clinical management.
