Abstract:
The Special Tribunal was able to use political crime as an effective cover for the repression of all types of conduct. In this chapter, we shall examine the decisions issued by the Special Tribunal following the enactment of two laws at the end of the 1930s which signifi cantly expanded its jurisdiction to include violations of currency legislation and the most serious common crimes.
