Abstract:
In this paper, two related subjects are discussed: musical segmentation and the representation of its results in a particular XML encoding, namely MX. About segmentation, there is a comprehensive discussion of the main ideas and the employed operators to implement it. Besides, in this paper we describe the principles of our music XML format.
