Reperti di industria su osso e corno di età protostorica conservati in una collezione anonima parmense

The authors present in this article a small lot of bone and antler (horn) finds belonging to a last century, naturalistic, anonymous collection of the Province of Parma. Alongside finds of doubtful dating, but of certain archaeological provenance, the article describes a tool made of deer antler which has a comb shaped end and for which comparisons in the Bronze Age of northern Italy can be found, and also two so called "sleigh's runners". One of these is fragmented, whilst the other, made with a horse metapodius, has a polished surface due to usage. These artefacts are interpreted as tools used for working skin and match similar findings which, between the late Bronze Age and the early Iron Age, characterized both the Alpine and the Padana areas of Italy.
