Transitional Justice : From Compromises to Reasonable Hope

This article discusses Colleen Murphy's approach to transitional justice, which interestingly shifts the focus of inquiry from striking the right compromise among contrasting values to elaborating a comprehensive set of requirements to evaluate process of transitions. The article reconstructs Murphy's argumentative strategy in order to enlighten its implications and to assess the fruitfulness of her original account of transitional justice.
