Abstract:
In this thesis we provide an overview of a problem related to almost homogeneous
separable Banach spaces; in particular we focus on a construction of the Gurarii
space due to J. Garbuli«ska and W. Kubis and some of its consequences,
giving a personal contribution to the state of the art. In particular we focused on the amalgamation property of the class of all finite-dimensional Banach spaces.
