Structural chemisorptions of co onto si(111) 7X7

Based on SEXAFS results for 1 and 2 ML (monolayers) of CO deposited onto Si at room temperature, we obtain the structure of the chemisorption in this model system. The order of the substrate determines the chemisorptions geometry and coordination numbers for the first a CO-rich overlayer covers the interface. © 1990 The Japan Society of Applied Physics.
