La natura nella drammaturgia tragica

This paper discusses some passages of the Attic tragedy which describe landscapes and natural phaenomena; the discussion shows that in the Greek tragic theatre nature becomes poetically “active” when it cooperates to define the feelings of the characters: nature is, so to say, a mirror of the human heart.
