Abstract:
The article studies the tracatus de testibus by an italian jurist. Ugolino da Sesso, who taught in the University of Palencia in the second half of twelfth century. The study senters around three items, secret wedding, incestuous marriages and subornation of witnesses, and compares with the solutions offered by other contemporary and later jurists.
