Il coinvolgimento del Parlamento svedese nell’adozione delle politiche europee e, in particolare, nel settore dello spazio di libertà, sicurezza e giustizia

This paper analyzes the participation of the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) in the adoption of European policies, in general, and, more specifically, of those relating to the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (AFSJ). The first part of the paper focuses more closely on the two main means of parliamentary participation in the elaboration of EU policies: the dialogue with the Government and the subsidiarity control. In this context, the paper highlights that Sweden, usually particularly active in adopting reasoned opinions, has preferred to resort to political dialogue with the EU institutions in the specific field of Freedom, Security and Justice.
