Renato Treves y Gino Germani en Argentina : el rol social del sociólogo

Gino Germani and Renato Treves were two great intellectuals of the twentieth century that have influenced the development of sociology as we know it . The author analyzes the interweaving of their life and academic and scientific activities in Italy and in Argentina , referring to the most recent studies dedicated to the culture that European exiles, fleeing from fascism, were able to create in Latin America . The conclusions draw the importance of experience and studies in Argentina and Latin America for the development of a sociology oriented to the values of Freedom and Social Justice.
