Abstract:
The Court of Justice of the European Union confirms full compatibility with EU law of the new Tobacco Products Directive, including its provisions concerning the right of Member States to introduce ‘further requirements’ relating to the packaging of tobacco products and those concerning the information (not) to be displayed on the packets and the products.
