In Hamlet's Path : Shakespearean Etchings in Laforgue et Tzara

This paper investigates the presence of Shakespeare's Hamlet in French literature from the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century . In particular, it examines the recasting of Hamlet in the texts of Laforgue and Tzara, in the light of the techniques of etching and collage.
