Neuroma capsulato con cellule a palizzata : analisi istologica

The authors report a case of a pedicled painless mass of the hard palate in a 40 years old caucasian male patient. The 5 mm diameter lesion showed the same colour as the adjacent mucosa apart from an eryhematous area on its top. Histological examination revealed an encapsulated neural lesion with palisaded cells. Because of its rarity in the oral region the authors described this case discussing differential diagnosis with other soft tissue lesions.
