Abstract:
The aim of the present research is to investigate the sexual behaviour of a sample of 60 males, aged 16-50, witih epilepsy, treated at the 'S. Paolo' Hospital, through a detailed questionnaire. The hypothesis found in the literature according to which people with epilepsy have also sexual problems (especially iposexuality) was not confirmed. The males of the sample have a normal sexual life. Existing problems are related with the number of seizures and the use of politherapy.
