Anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background

An approach to obtain high-quality data of the early universe was presented by using cosmic microwave background (CMB) anisotropy method. CMB observations concentrated on precise polarization measurements and deep sub-arcmin imaging searching for secondary anisotropies. Both ballon-borne and ground-based experiments independently demonstrated the acoustic pattern of the angular power spectrum.
