Molecular Hydropathicity Index: application to a series of allosteric modulators of the M2 receptors

The hydropathicity of a series of compounds active as allosteric modulators at the M2 musca-rinic receptors was calculated and projected on the molecular surface. An analysis of the rela-tionships between conformational and local hydropathicity properties was also performed.
