Art Therapies application on Psychiatric Rehabilitation have concurred to modify in substantial way the approach to creativity of subjects carrying a psychical disorder, offering new possibilities of employment of expressive activities as techniques with therapeutic effects, just as important and effective as other methods of treatment. The effort aimed to increase the research and the formation in this within, sees us engaged in the University Course of Technique of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation. It forms specialists that study general scientific courses, clinical courses and courses of rehabilitation techniques. More specifically, this last include expressive techniques (artistic, musical, theatrical), that are comprehensive of theoretical lessons and practical trainings. We’d like to illustrate, just as an example of part of the work we do with the students, a research we made on importance of conservation of memory of the clinical and personal history of every patient. We’ll also study the way are structured the archives of the Atelier of Art Therapy of the Unit of Psychiatric Rehabilitation of the University of Studies of Milan, where the Course of Technique of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation takes action.
