A rebours: dalle immagini al testo (o brevi istruzioni, dedicate ai filologi, per l'uso di MArS)

Some borderline reflections, arising from the Giornata di Studi 'Tra testo e immagini. Riflessioni ovidiane' are proposed about the opportunity to export the MArS project to the field of literary studies on Ovid's Metamorphoses. In particular, the iconographic and 'ekprhastic' reading of Ovidian poem, tha MArS has been carrying out, could be useful to discover new perspectives in studies about ovidian narrative as well as strenghten the link, that is at core of the most recent research on ancient ekphrasis, between narrate and describe.
