Le sfide della Cooperazione Internazionale tra emergenza Covid e nuovi scenari di guerra: il caso Mani Tese

This article intends to offer an analysis of the activity carried out by Mani Tese, a non-governmental organisation, founded in Milan in 1964, that deals with development cooperation in Africa. Starting from the history of Mani Tese, the article traces its mission, its way of operating and its idea of cooperation, dwelling on the significance of the commitment to justice promoted by the organisation not only in Africa, but also in Italy with its numerous associations scattered throughout the territory.
The last part of the article gives space to the opinion of an international cooperation manager of Mani Tese, gathered in an interview, on the effects of the Covid-19 health emergency, on the management of the problems faced by the organisation, leaving space for considerations on the future of international cooperation.
