Abstract:
The spatial structure of pairing correlations in 120Sn is investigated making use of both the bare nucleon-nucleon potential and the interaction induced by the exchange of collective vibrations, taking into account self-energy effects. The resulting pairing gap is strongly peaked on the nuclear surface.
