Mura Tarquiniesi: Definizione dei Limiti

Interpretations of signs, emerged from the analysis of historical and aerophotogrammet- rical cartography and from LiDAR data processing, are completed now with the results of historical documentation. GPS survey conducted on the plateau, allowed to complete the work with the LiDAR based spatial contextualization of the archaeological remains, in or- der to update existing maps. Analysis of constructive techniques was carried out through direct survey and considering the past documentation, and was crucial to identify specific solutions created together with the geomorphological variation of the plateau. The result of this interdisciplinary work is the production of a new thematic map of the Tarquinia’s walls.
