Il voto multiplo alla prova dei fatti, guardando oltre la crisi Covid

The paper takes its cue from the opportunity to continue the analyses already carried out in the recent past on the real application of vote enhancement mechanisms by listed companies. The Coronavirus, the emergency regulatory interventions and the signs of a "new deal post Covid-19" have recently enriched the scenario. Therefore, updated data have been collected not only with respect to listed companies, but also with respect to companies admitted to the multilateral trading system named Euronext Growth Milan. The study of this updated data has shown that considering the ownership structure of most of the Italian companies, multiple voting appears to be a less opaque mechanism of control stabilization that others and that it can become a possible measure of containment of the recent greater impact of the posto-Covid-19 golden powers.
