Italian Measures in Support of Work at the Time of Coronavirus: Between Emergency Legislation and (the Need for a) More Resilient Administration

This article analyses some of the main legislative measures adopted in Italy to tackle the economic-social crisis in the labour market brought about by the restrictions imposed by public powers in the course of 2020 with a view to containing the spread of Covid-19 infection. The article includes some critical reflections on the role the public administration ought to play in this particular phase of “post-war” reconstruction characterised by a strong State intervention in the economy.
