Trees in paved sites

The webinar will be focused on the effects of impermeable, permeable, and porous pavements on tree growth and physiology. It will unravel the changes induced by the different pavement types on soil traits, and how this impacts tree health. The presentation will first focus on newly planted, establishing trees, which still have most of roots confined within the unpaved planting pit. Then, the focus will move on established trees, which mostly rely on roots grown under the pavements for water and nutrient uptake.
