This research investigates heuristics and consequences (particularly polarization) of selective trust. Its research effort is applied to the investigation of the Italian case, especially among young voters (18-19). The main objective of this research is to collect data in order to design and develop a gamified tool feasible to different social media which will accompany the user through his/her experience interacting with news. Based on the heuristics the research will highlight, a digital tool will be developed to address people to use a more pluralized range of sources which provide quality and reliable information.
