Abstract:
Considering the massive environmental impact of Italian agricultural practices and intensive livestock farming, as well as the repercussions on the environment of industrial food production and eating habits, the essay stressed how the right to food cannot be realised only by protecting the accessibility of a healthy and safe diet: Different legal sources show how the reference to environmental sustainability is crucial.
