99Lives Cat genome Sequencing Consortium - The 99 Lives Cat Genome Sequencing Initiative is a public project of Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of the Felis catus. WGS data are available to the scientific community to identify DNA mutations causing interesting traits, like different coat colors and ear and tail types, or health problems. Healthy cats can participate to define the normal DNA sequence of different cat breeds and populations from around the world. The DNA from many wild felids, such as lions, tigers, and cheetahs, are also included. (02/01/2013 - )

Development and validation of the first bovine DNA chip - The Network, coordinated by Prof. M. Georges of the University of Liège, Belgium, aimed to the development and validation of the first animal DNA Chip for Genome-Wide Association Studies in cattle. In addition to the validation of the genetic tool, the work led to the identification of the causative mutation of fetal ichthyosis in Chianina cattle and a patent. (30/07/2004 - 02/01/2008)
