INSPIRED - Integrated Space ad Ground Platform for High Data-Transfer Density and Edge-Computing

The project has the mission of developing and implementing, through innovative methods and technologies, a radio-optical telecommunication platform for high information density communications and integrated elaboration that will be applied in satellite-to-satellite, satellite-to-ground and ground-to-ground links. The project will make it possible both to overcome the limits currently imposed by the physical system and linked ti the finite bandwidth of the communication channels, and to impelement edge-computing techniques through high-performance optical neural networks with parallel processing capabilities.
