Smart computing system to monitor and abate the indoor concentrations of NH3, CH4 and PM in pig farm (LIFE MEG)

Project
The Life-MEGA project intends to implement in pig houses a system able to continuously monitor the concentration of NH3, CH4, PM and VOCs using an online tool with the possibility of activating a system for emission control. For the abatement of gases and PM inside the pig barns, two different technologies will be tested: i) a prototype of a wet scrubber, washing and recirculating air inside the barns; ii) a dry scrubber already used in other industrial contexts (bakeries, warehouses, waste treatment plants, etc.).
