Non-Equilibrium Phenomena in Soft Matter and Complex Fluids (NESTEX)

Il progetto si propone di investigare le fluttuazioni e la formazione di strutture in fluidi complessi, tipicamente sospensioni colloidali e soluzioni polimeriche, al di fuori dell’equilibrio termodinamico utilizzando le facilities “Colloidal Solids” e “Giant Fluctuations” in corso di sviluppo da parte di ESA sulla ISS e la facility di microscopia-reologia in corso di sviluppo da parte di CMSA sulla CSS.
