Gli effetti della crisi economica e politica sugli orientamenti verso l'Europa degli italiani, e dei residenti nelle regioni del Nord-Ovest e Nord-Est, in occasione delle prossime elezioni Europee

The project deals with the next EP elections. Usually EP elections were considered second order elections. Second order elections mean election in which voters make up their minds considering the performance of incumbent governemnt. That is they vote looking at the perfomance of national leaders. There are several expectations that the next EP election will be different in way voters are making their mind when they will vote. Moreover the seismic nature of the last Parliamentary election might have consequence also on the next EP elections, since in 2013 European issues were central in the voting decision of many Italian voters. The project aims to study the EP elections with two instruments : a longitudinal cross sectional survey covering the period from April 2013 to Novemebr 2014, and a panel online with two waves (pre and Post EP elections) .



We will also analyze the impact of the electoral change at the EP election in the northern region of Italy.
