Messa a punto di best practice a ridotta emissione in amosfera per la gestione e l'utilizzo agronomico di reflui zootecnici
ProjectThe general objective of the project is to provide operational guidance on techniques for management of livestock manure that can be adopted by farmers and that can achieve significant reduction of emissions to the atmosphere compared to the techniques commonly adopted.
In particular, the objectives of the project are:
- Test in a comparative and integrated
manner
management practices to improve the management of manure in the different stages of storage-treatment ( solid-liquid separation , anaerobic digestion) and application to soil, with different application techniques ( superficial spreading - injection).
- Provide technical and scientific data, verified in practice, to integrate the reliability of emissions data currently used ( INEMAR ) and define detailed emission factors for the various stages of the management of manure so as to identify virtuous farms and evaluate the
obtainable
reduction of
emissions to the air.
- Develop a reliable methodology, generally acepted, for the integrated assessment of best techniques to
improve the use of manure
(also as digestate), depending on the
boundary
variables (soil, climate, economic and farm consrtaints) , assigning an
environmental costs / benefits
optimization
index
.
- Develop
indices of n
itrogen use efficiency by plants as a function of the practice used in order to update the standard values used in guidelines.
