Description
Daniela Grieco is an Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the University of Milano (Italy), Department of Law Cesare Beccaria. She is a behavioral and experimental economist with expertise in various areas, including the design of experimental protocols for both lab and field experiments, the development of structural models, and the empirical analysis of experimental and simulated data (including reduced forms and structural estimations).
Her research focuses on several topics, including social interactions in collective action games, individual and group decision-making under conditions of risk and ambiguity, the role of financial incentives in shaping individual and corporate behavior, creativity and innovation, guilt aversion, fairness, and norms. Her work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association and the Economic Journal, among others.
Furthermore, she has received research grants from several institutions, including Fondazione Cariplo, UNU-WIDER, Bank of Italy, the University of Milano Transition Grant, and the ‘Individuals and Risk – Analysis and Market Response’ Risk Foundation Chair at Université Paris-Dauphine.
